Traditionally the first sprint for the Academy series, it uses a portion of the historic grand prix circuit that hosted the British GP in the 1950’s on the same venue as the Grand National steeplechase course. The simple three corner layout with huge run off areas makes it the perfect introduction to circuits for the novice Academy drivers.
Caterham Spectator tip:
There are several good spots to watch from so it is worth exploring, but the mound overlooking turns one and two is a short walk from the paddock and a great place to watch people struggling with grip on cold tyres!
