The new Supersport R is an evolution of the very successful Supersport model, but tweaked to give it a little more punch. It houses a 2.0L Duratec engine, the natural progression from the 1.6 Sigma engine, and produces a generous 180bhp. The Supersport R has been refined to encompass many of the engineering developments and upgrades obtained from our experience of the various race models within the Caterham Motorsport series. With a Limited Slip Differential and race inspired suspension, an increased rev limit and a tad more power, we truly believe the new Supersport R will only compliment the Supersport range.
The Supersport R intensifies the raw driving pleasure obtained from driving a Caterham down long winding country roads. Not only is it the perfect tool for road and track use, it will put a smile on your face and will leave you grinning even after you've switched off the engine and started planning your next drive.
