Learn to master the art of driving a car sideways!

With its light weight, high power and superlative handling the Caterham 7 is the ideal car in which to hone your drifting abilities. Spend the day looking out the side of the car as you gracefully slide the car around our specially designed drift courses.
An orientation and demonstration from our instructors will familiarize you with the cars and you will be taught to steer the car using the throttle. Initially you may find yourself spinning the car as you deliberately provoke power oversteer. You will then learn how to kick the tail out and hold the slide by balancing smooth steering and throttle inputs. There are few feelings more satisfying than controlling a drift and the ‘grin factor’ is simply off the scale!
The instructors will teach you both in groups and individually and we guarantee that you will have drifted a car before the day is out! When your confidence has grown we will change to a more challenging track layout designed to allow you longer drifts. Ultimately there will be 4 courses with the last giving you the opportunity to show off your new drifting abilities at a higher speed and through multiple corners. Our team will judge the three best drifters of the day and award prizes, but everyone leaves with a smile and improved driving skills!
The Drift Experience is open to drivers (with a full UK license) of all abilities, however please note that the difficulty level is slightly higher than that of the Slalom Experience.
Drift Experience days run from 9:00am – 5.00pm.
Hot and cold drinks and snacks will be provided throughout the event.
Full day events include a light lunch of sandwich, crisps and cake.

Guide:
The Slalom Experience
runs at venues all over the UK from March to November.
For group and corporate events other venues may be available.
Brands Hatch –
Conveniently located a few minutes from the M25 in Kent.
The Slalom Experience uses the Lower Paddock Area which
provides excellent
views of the action on the drift!
Silverstone – The
home of the British Grand Prix is in easy reach for
customers
in the Midlands or South-East, and provides excellent
facilities as well as motorsport heritage.
Bordon – The military
parade ground at Bordon is one of our great new venues,
highly
convenient for customers in Surrey, Sussex or Hampshire,
located just 15 mins South West of Guildford.
Elvington – This
classic airfield venue is located 7 miles south of York
and is perfect for
customers in the North of England.

for guests:
Non driving guest hospitality Family and friends are
welcome to attend and watch you master the Caterham
Slalom, however please note that food and drink is provided
for the participant only. Light lunch and all day snacks
and refreshments are available at £6.99 per person.
Please contact us in advance to guarantee availability.
Helmets - A
selection of sizes is provided. Customers are welcome
to bring their own (safety approved) helmets if desired.
Cancellations -
there will be an admin charge of £25 for change
of date or cancellation upto 48hours before the event.
No refund or credit will be offered for cancellation
within 48hours of the event.
Safety –
Our safety record is
excellent and all our events are constantly assessed
for Health and Safety compliance. However, all motorsport
is dangerous and you will be required to adhere to the
safety regulations on the day, including the wearing
of a helmet whilst driving. All drivers and passengers
will be required to sign an indemnity on the day. Under
18’s must be accompanied by an adult who is authorised
to sign an indemnity on their behalf.
