The driving experience is fundamental to the Caterham 7. At Caterham, there is nothing we like more than to see
first-time drivers rendered speechless by the sheer thrill of driving our cars.
With the wind in your hair, the roar of induction and exhaust in your ears and incredible, direct feedback through
your hands and feet, driving a 7 is sensory overload compared to the typical modern road car. The difference
is akin to being a fighter pilot or a passenger on an airliner; both will get you to your destination but only one will
give you the ride of your life.
This is why we offer a range of driving experiences to get you into the driving seat and understand how much
fun driving can really be.
Caterham Drive Experience (CDX) is our official factory driving experience team and runs Slalom, Drift and Circuit experiences around the UK. CMC events are fun, informal and you will be able to explore the awesome full potential of the Caterham 7 in a safe environment.
No previous driving experience is required for any of our events, other than holding a driving licence.

 Slalom Experience: Slip and slide a Caterham through a tight course and learn
 to perform tyre-smoking donuts!
Drift Experience: Master the art of sideways driving around a specially designed drift course

Driving Tuition
A Caterham 7 matches the performance of supercars costing many times as much and driving one demands a healthy respect for road safety and responsibility. We strongly advise all buyers to seek additional training in advanced driving skills. Even the most experienced driver can benefit from having their driving assessed by a professional coach.
Caterham recommends Cadence Driver Development for driving tuition. Caterham uses Cadence to train its own employees and as such they have an excellent understanding of the unique demands of Caterham driving.
